Mangalore: Teachers' Credit Co-op Society to Move to Its Own Premises

Mangalore: The Mangalore Teachers' Credit Co-operatve Society Ltd (MTCCS) will be moving into their own premises at Maximus Commercial Complex, Lighthouse hill road, which will be inagurated at 10.20 am on Sunday June 24. SCDCC Bank president M N Rajendra Kumar will inaugurate, while Ramashesha Shetty will preside over.

CAMPCO president Konkodi Padmanabha, Cooperative Assistant Registrar P R Palangappa, DDPI Moses Jayashekhar, Nagendra Madhyastha, Salim B K, C Prabhakar Shetty and entrepreneur D B Mehta will be the chief guests.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Friday June 22, Ramashesha Shetty said that the Society had over 3300 members. The members are actively participating in the official work in district during the time of elections etc. He recalled that a notebook under the brand name "Shikshak"  which was launched on the occasion of the golden jubilee of Indian Independence in 1997, also carried the logo of the association.

He said that the head office of association was near Janata Bazar here. As they decided to have their own office, rather than a rented one, they will be moving to the new premises.
