Mangalore: A lokayukta raid is in progress at the office of the DK district deputy commissioner of excise and office of the joint commissioner of excise (enforcement and inspection), Mangalore division located at Mary Hill here, on Wednesday noon, June 27.

"The raid is on and the official documents are being verified," said a Lokayukta staff, speaking to Mangalorean.com. However the premises are locked from inside as the raid is being carried out.

SP Jagamayanavar, inspector Udaya Nayak, Dilip Kumar with other staff from Mangalore Lokayukta and Dinesh Kumar, Thimmayyappa and other staff from Udupi Lokayukta are carrying out the raid.
