Udupi: Attempted Robbery to loot a ATM all in Vain

Udupi: In a shocking incident a futile effort was made to loot an ATM belonging to State Bank of India near MGM College, Udupi, which is also near the Acharya IMT clinic building. This attempted robbery could have happened during sometime on Sunday--awaiting results from the ATM camera.The culprits have managed to dismantle the camera cables and also cut the cables  behind the ATM machine--so the chances of complete recording of the attempted robbery could be in vain. The police are yet to watch the camera recordings.

When the bank officials were on their routine visit to inspect the ATM on Monday morning, the incident came to their notice. Investigation regarding this incident is going on and a complaint has been registered.

Prior to this, a ATM in Udupi that was broken into and money was looted,the police have not been successful in nabbing the culprits in that case.
