Mangalore: A theft had taken place in the house of M K Jaswaruddin in Kalpana Road of Balmatta on May 12.
The Kadri police had subsequently arrested Arun Shanmugam Shetty (22), Venkatesh (28), Mururgesh (20) and Kiran (20) in this connection and seized the stolen artcles from them.
They included 19 sovereign gold ornaments, diamond set, a digital camera, a handycam, three wrist watches, a laptop, data card, mobile set and others.
After obtaining a court permission, articles worth Rs 6,71,650 were handed over by Kadri police station inspector-in-charge Venkatesh Prasanna to Jaswaruddin on Monday.
