Press release on Oman Billawas Talent Show

Oman: Oman Billawas organized it's Annual Children Talent show at Al Khuwair Hall, in Oman on Thursday, 7th June, 2012. All participants were in full enthusiasm, to take part in this talent show. The Talent Show was organized in two groups--Group 1, for age group 3 to 7 year old, and Group 2 -for ages 8 and above.

Talent show was conducted in different categories such as Singing, Story telling, Essay writing, Painting, Dancing, Instrumental Music, and Shloka Reciting. As usual the event was hosted by Suchethana K. Anchan, with help from Ladies Wing members namely Kavitha Sanil, Neel Anchan, Suvi Bangara and Manuja Suhan.

Talent show was judged by Vijay Amin for Painting; Prashanthi Suvarna for Story Telling, Essay writing and Shloka reciting;  Shreya Bangera and  Akshitha Rishikesh Amin for Dancing;  Harish V. Sanil and Mr. Rajnish V. Sanil for Singing, who are all eminent members of Oman Billawas, having expertise in their own field.

At the end of the event all judges gave their verdict on performance of children. In signing category -1.  Diya Suhbakar,  Smithi Karkera,  Diya Amin bagged first, second and third place respectively. In Category – 2.  Rija Kotian,  Raj Kotian,  Siddarth Poojary are awarded first, second and third place respectively.

In story telling, Smithi Karkera beat all other participants to achieve first place. In Essay writing Rija kotian,  Kiran Anchan,  Sashwath Uday bagged first, second and third place respectively. In Painting competition category – 1 Dyan R. Poojary, Sayi Gyan Sudesh,  Prisha Sudhir won first, second and third place respectively. In category – 2. Spoorthi S. Uppoor, Mihika Anchan,  Mithali Sudhir got first, second and third place respectively.

In Dancing competition category – 1. Sayi Gyan Sudesh, Prisha Sudhir,  Eshaan C. Kotian stole the show to achieve first, second and third place respectively, and in category – 2. Gauri Gangadhar,  Esha Kotian,  Prachi Sandeep bagged first, second and third place respectively.

In Instrumental Music competition  Rakshith poojary, Spoorthi S. Poojary and  Raj Kotian gained first, second and third place respectively. In Shloka Reciting - Mithali Sudhir,  Gauri Gangadhar and  Janvi Kotian beat all other competitors to reach first, second and third place respectively.

President of the association,  Ashok Suvarna congratulated  all winners, and appreciated participating members for their effort and making this event colorful.
