Udupi : Udupi Zilla Okkaligara Seva Sangha  condemned the move by the BJP High Command to get rid of DV Sadananda Gowda from the position of Chief Minister of Karnataka.

Speaking during the press meet which was held in the press club, Udupi on Tuesday July 10, 2012,  BM Suresh, the President of Udupi Zilla Okkaligara Seva Sangha said that "DV Sadananda Gowda has proved to be a very efficient CM in BJP Party.  The strength of his character and commitment to to the State, DVS has gained praises  even from Opposition Parties.

DV Sadananda Gowda's removal is being carried out of their vested interests, this has affected the entire Governmental  programmes including the sessions.  This is gross injustice to democracy itself.  It is BJP Government's  inefficiency to plan the change in the leadership in the phase of North Karnataka being gripped in drought.  Moreover, this kind of caste ridden politics is a lethal blow to the Govt. of Karnataka", he said.

He further reiterated "The Governor shouldn't accept the resignation of DV Sadananda Gowda.  BJP too should reconsider matters and policies in the interest of the entire governance. Considering all the good things achieved by DV Sadananda Gowda  BJP High Command should let DV Sadananda Gowda continue his tenure as a successful Chief Minister".

Joint Secretary Lilavathi, Vice president Chandrashekar Gattigar, Secretary Manjunath, Honorary President Ramanna were present during the press meet
