Kundapur: Unauthorized Felling of Trees at Mudoor, DC and SP visit the Site

Kundapur: To take stock of the motive behind the felling of trees all at once in Mudoor, Dr. MT Reju, DC, Udupi District and SP Dr. Boralingaia visited the spot taken aback by this sudden surge of fury in the villagers of Mudoor, an act of felling trees wantonly on Tuesday July 10, 2012.

Hulipare in Shelkod of Jadkal Grama Panchayath, its villagers were taken to task by the DC asking explanation for this act attributing the cause of this act is very much known to the Grama Panchayath also since  a team of 400 people were involved in the chopping of trees there. 

Grama Panchayath President PK Prasad and Vice President Devdas and the villagers were told that the cut down trees will not be cleared and road wouldn't be made to the inhabitants of that area until they reveal the identify of those people behind this cowardly act.

Kundapur Sub Regional Officer Sadashiv Prabhu ; Kundapur Asst. Forest Conservator Ganesh Rai; Assist. Forest Officer Manjunath Shetty ; Kudure Mukh Wild Life Divisional Officer Sathish Babu Roy ; Kundapur Regional Zone Forester Sadananda; Kolloor Police Station Sub Inspector Dejappa; Byndoor Zone Circle Inspector Aravinda Nayak; Forest Dept  officials and PK Prasad,  policemen  of the station ; President of Jadkal Grama Panchayath ; Dev Das, Vice President and villagers were present on this occasion
