Udupi: Pramod aged 19 years hailing from Yallapur drowned in "Madhwa Sarovar of Krishna Math", on July 11.

On Wednesday evening at around 6 p.m, as usual Pramod after finishing the classes went for swimming in Madhwa Sarovar.  When he was swimming his leg hit a pipe of the  fountain which was under the water. Pramod who panicked due to the incident suffered a massive heart attack, he was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared brought dead.

Pramod, was a second year B.Com student of Poornaprajna College Udupi and was staying in the Sode Math Hostel and pursuing his education.

When Pramod was struggling in the water the Math's watchman Nagaraj came to his rescue, but it was too late to save his life. A case has been registered in Udupi Town Police station.
