Udupi: Pramila (26), wife of Raghavendra Acharya, resident of Ambalapady temple road here, has been reported to be missing since Thursday. She is said to have been in the ninth month of her pregnancy.

As she had planned to visit her parental home in Harikhandige on Thursday, her husband had gone with her to the service bus stand to see her off at 4-30 pm. Around 4-50 pm, when called, she had told him she was in the bus.

However, at 6 pm, when he called her parental home, he was told by her brother that she had not reached there. In the meantime, her mobile kept responding with switched-off messages. Since then, she has neither reached her parents' house nor returned to her husband's home.

A complaint has been filed by him at the town police station.
