Kundapur : Two teens namely Mohammed Hussain (16) and Dadu Saab (17) from Kurugunda in Haveri District, were drowned when they were swimming off Murudeshwar beach on Sunday July 15. These two boys were part of the 14 member group that had come on a sight seeing tour.

After visiting Jog Falls in Shimoga, around 3pm the group had reached Murudeshwar.  While some of the group members opted to visit a temple near to Murudeshwar, these two teens decided to go to Murudeshwar beach.

Unfortunately, while swimming they got drowned in the rough sea waters. As of now, the bodies are yet to be recovered.
