Mangalore: Male Body Discovered near Railway Tracks, Murder Suspected

Mangalore: Shivaraj around 25 years of age, had been found murdered near Jarandaya Temple, Thokur here on July 20.

Shivaraj was the son of Raj Kulal and Vanaja Kulal from Kodikere Kulai. He was working as a technician in Bharat Motors near Kuntikan for the last  four years . 

It is learnt that the murder had taken place between July 20 night and July 21 morning.  According to his friends he had worked till 8 pm, and had reached home at 10pm. At around 10.30 p.m a group of people had come to his house on a Maruti van and took him in their vehicle saying that one of their friend's car had broken down and they wanted him to check on it.

Shivaraj's body was found on July 20 morning around 10 am near railway tracks near Jarandaya Temple. Rope marks were found around his neck with also minor injuries on his body, suspecting that he may have been strangled to death.
 
It is also learnt that Shivaraj was a quiet type and has not been involved in any fights with anyone.
 
A case has been registered in the Panambur police station and investigations are on to find the culprits and the reason behind the motive of this murder, which has taken a life of a innocent young man.
