Mangalore : The newly appointed District Minister In-charge, and Minister of Higher Education C T Ravi paid his maiden visit to the District BJP office here on July 21.
The District BJP members organized a felicitation ceremony for C T Ravi on the occasion. The district BJP president Padmanabha Kottari welcomed the gathering. MP Nalin Kumar Kateel in his felicitation speech said, "C T Ravi is a born fighter and we are blessed to have such a dedicated person as District Minister In- Charge, who will work for the development of the district". Further he stated that, stars look good in sky, lotus looks good in dirt and C T Ravi looks good in BJP. With his leadership the district will witness great developments.















The projects which are pending when Palemar was the Minister of In-charge, C T Ravi will complete all those projects and will work for new projects in the district. He also said that, when he was visiting the party workers in Mangalore he strictly said not to offer him any flowers and felicitations, but to support him and work hard with him hand in hand for the development of the district.
C T Ravi speaking on the occasion said, "In this world position or power is not permanent, position and power will change anytime. I wasn't behind any post or any minister- ship, but I am very dedicated towards my party. Since my childhood I was very much interested in politics, I was working hard for the BJP. During any events,elections we used to fix banners in every possible places and canvas for our candidates . I don't have any political background, since I come from a middle class family". When I joined the party I worked for it keeping in mind the ideology's and principles of the party.
Further he said, I never let down the people of my party and never will I do so. He said not to see the post in the party, but to work hand in hand and strengthen it. Party has given me an opportunity to work for the development of the district, I will perform my duty with full transparency and finish all the pending projects. He also said that in cricket, if there are only 3 wickets and need to win the match then the player should think to retain the wicket as well as to win the match. "I know how to win the match without losing any wickets, for that I need the support of the party workers", he said.
Pradeep Kumar Kalkura submitted the memorandum to C T Ravi to implement one education system on the occasion. Deputy Speaker Yogish Bhat, ZP president Shailaja K T Bhat, Monappa Bhandary, Deputy mayor Amitakala, Sulochana Bhat and MLC Captain Ganesh Karnik were also present. |
