Mangalore: VBMS Holds 'Mangala Gauri Pooja' at Kalikamba Temple

Mangalore: Vishwa Brahmin Mahila Samiti  (VBMS) held a Mangala Gauri Pooja at the Kalikamba Temple here on July 24.

The religious head of Kalikamba temple Umesh Thantri performed the rituals to the Goddess on behalf of Vishwa Brahmin Mahila Samiti at the temple.  
 

The Goddess Mangala Gauri's face mask was erected in a Kalasha and the rituals performed. Rice, flowers, bangles, Kumkum and turmeric was distributed to all the married women on the occasion. The Holy threads of the Mangala Gauri Pooja were distributed to all the attendees.

President of Vishwa Bhramin Mahila Samiti, Jayanti Keshava Acharya welcomed the devotees. Religious preist Achuta Sharma and all the members of Vishwa Brahmin Mahila Samiti were present.
