Kundapur: Former CM DV Sadananda Gowda came to visit Haladi Srinivas Shetty, MLA Kundapura who had resigned earlier since he was not considered for the position of Ministership by his own party people.
DV Sadananda Gowda visiting Haladi on Saturday July 28, 2012 morning, held discussion with Haladi Srinivas Shetty for more than one hour, during which Raghupathy Bhat, MLA Udupi was also present.
After the discussion DV Sadanada Gowda speaking with media persons said, " I have tremendous respect for Haladi Srinivas Shetty. He never spoke anything of leaving the Party. I am sure he will never quit the Party. This was just a courtesy call, we have discussed the recent trends. This is an intimate moment".
Haladi Srinivas Shetty speaking to the media said, "I have not resolved anything of abandoning the Party, nor have I decided to join any other party. The decision of the voters of Constituency is my decision". | |

| I suggest he should change the party now as next time the bjp will not come to power. it is either jds or congress who will form the government in next election either directly or thru allliance. |

| Emotions will not help Mr D.V.S. It has entered history of BJP politics. To console Mr. Halady offer him a higher respctable post in other areas having cabint values and when reshuple is coming up(it will), care for him to be a Minister. Good leaders must be truely respected and not be shows and by this kind of sympethy . |
