| | Mangalore: Support Galore In The Wake of Party Attack - Colleges Bundh on Monday |

Mangalore: The District Congress party workers staged a protest in front of the Gandhi Statue, located oposite to City Corporation Offices, Lalbagh here on July 29.
The protesters demanded justice for the 13 students who were molested, assaulted and looted by Hindu Jagarana Vedike members on July 28 when they were celebrating the birthday of one of their friend at the Morning Mist Home Stay resort near Padil. The youth congress leaders and members had condemned the inhumane act and protested on 28 July in front of the Pandeshwar Police station demanding the arrest of the culprits.
On July 29, at around 4 p.m the KPCC Secretary Ivan D'Souza along with Mithun Rai, Praveenchandra Alva, former Mayor Ashraf, Corporator Nagendra, Latheef, Vishawanth Gowda, Girish Shetty and other party workers protested near the Gandhi Statue near Lalbagh. Section 144 being imposed in the city for 3 days, gathering of a group of more than five persons in any area is prohibited and no permission will be given for any protest. But as soon as the protesters, who had gathered in more than five people on the streets, they were arrested and taken to the Commissioner's office, where after completing the formalities, were released.
The Youth Congress under the leadership of Mithun Rai has called for 'all college bundh' on Monday, July 30. Speaking to Mangalorean.com, Mithun Rai said that colleges in Puttur, Sullia, Moodbidri,Surathlal, Belthangadi, Karkal, Bantwal and Mangalore will remain closed tomorrow and they will support the bundh in favor of the 13 students who were assaulted.

He is enjoying with celebrities ,foreigners & lot of devotee girls.there u can find real nudity.there they can find drugs & cocaine. why they cannot show thier strength & goonda giri there? he is the swamy spoiling the HINDUTHUVA.Go & show your streangth there. not this poor college boys & girls. they dont have a privacy to celebrate birhday party?. this is nothing but some of thier known person kept revenge on this boys & girls. this kind of anti social goondas molesting & rapeing helpless girls,give them to The publice hand & hang them . this culprits dont have mothers & sisters. such way they molested poor girls. today we are watching in the media is realy shame to our region. |

| Yesterday Karnataka ellectronic chanels become completely naked. Worst politics from media. They twisted the news and spread false rumour. News chanels who suppose to bring awareness in the society behaves like very stupid. If this continues in future its very difficult to trust the news in the news channell. Also college students should understand that this is not a correct reason for strike and parents should bring the awereness to their kid and stop to become slave to any political party |

BJP legislators, especially from DK and Udupi, are scared of a certain person from Kalladka, who controls the strings of various Sangh outfits.
This guy openly praises these lumpen elements as "our boys" (namma hudugru). He was also reportedly linked to the sensational murder of a rival politician in the 1970s. |

Also, through your investigative journalism, give us a background on the culprits: who they are & where are they employed, who their family is. This will go a long way in embarassing the family that gave birth to these misguided sons! |

@ KR Prabhu... If college students dont support the cause of students then who else will? Congress has to play this role because our Mangalore MLA Yogish Bhat and his stoogies are behaving like mute spectators; no word of condemnation has come from them so far.
And what consequences are you talking about? Planning to give them a second round of thrashing is it?
