"Do you send your daughter to like this so called party in Homestays with boys"

There is nothing wrong in sending your daughter for partying with known boys as long as you know your daughter well. This is the training they need to have when you groom them to face the real world.

If your daughter is aspiring for a high level position in a globalized world, she better know how to interact with world class people that include attending conventions, meetings, partying, golfing and other entertainments.

India's Prime Minister late Indira Gandhi knew how to interact with world class leaders. She raised the toast to US President with a glass of champaigne and changed the image of Indian women in late 1960's

If anyone wants to settle his/her daughter for just tying beedis at home or just to raise kids, they don't need to send them out for partying. Stick to your culture and don't impose your's on others. The culture is relevant to people and the community.

Muslims can have four wives; tribal marry 45 girls; five brothers marry one single girl in northern part of India; Devadasis will have as many partners as possible; Mangalore Roman Catholic families believe in sending (sacrificing) one child for God's service (Priest/Nun), etc., etc.

One culture doesn't fit all especially in India. Our forefathers knew it and that was the reason they have selected the statement of "Unity in Diversity" as preamble for India's constitution.

Let's leave the India's culture as it is and mind our own business. We will continue to produce Indira Gandhis, Indra Noojs, Mamata Banerjis, Mother Teresas... Life will go on....
