Udupi: State of The Art Mosque 'Jamia Masjid' inaugurated in City

Udupi : Industrialist Janab Hidayatulla Abbas Saheb inaugurated the State of the Art 'Jamia Masjid' symbolically on Friday August 10. The masjid was built at the cost of Rupees Four crores. The prayer was offered in the mosque with the leadership of Katiba Moulana Mohiddin Zilani on the occasion.

There was a stage programme held on the occasion.  Chairman of Karnataka State Board of Wakfs Bangalore  R Abdul Riaz Khan, Former MLC  K S Mohammed Masood, Dubai Hidayath Group of Industries CEO Imran Hidayatulla were present on the dais.


Speaking on the occasion  R Abdul Riyaz Khan,  said that all the investments should be compulsory made through the State WAKF Properties which is registered under Islamic Development Bank, and about 150 properties already have been identified. Apart from concentrating over Spiritual matters, Muslim community needs to think over temporal matters too.  Quite a few people of the Muslim Community say only 2 % of the Community people are employed with Government jobs.   We need to educate our people and help them to join in government sectors, he opined.
 
Moulana Saleem Umri ,President of Jamat–E–Islami Hind- Dharwad district; Moulana Sanaulla Umri, Islamic Da’awa Center Udupi; Moulana Masiullah Khan Qasimi Jamat-E-Tableeg, Indrai Udupi, Mosque Managing committee president T S Budan Basha, Vice President  Athif Hussian, Secretary  Qamruddin M, Treasurer  V S Umar, Mosque construction committee Convener  K Mohammad Saleem,  Co-Convener Mohammad Saleem Udupi and others were also present.
