Kundapur: Biker Killed in a Tragic Road Accident

Kundapur: Umesh Acharya (37), resident of Bijadi died in a tragic road accident here on August 11, 2012, while trying to avoid his motorbike in  collision with a on -coming  car from the opposite direction.

Umesh riding his motorbike was on his way from Koteshwar to Kundapur. When he was near Kamath Petrol Pump, Umesh tried to avoid his bike in colliding with a car coming from the opposite direction.

 

When he severed his motor bike to one side, the bike skid, thereby throwing Umesh to the ground, during which his head hit the road divider and a electric pole.  He sustained severe head injuries and was bleeding profusely. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, but succumbed to the injuries.

Umesh Acharya, resident of Bijady is the second son of Govind Acharya, and was working for a construction company. Married 7 years ago, Umesh is survived by his  wife and a son. A case has been registered in Kundapur traffic Police Station and investigation is on.

Guys, even if you wear helmet, bike is a bike. So avoid using bike, travel by a bus. So that we can save our lives.

May his soul Rest In Peace... Please my dear bikers, wear an helmet... It would cost Rs 1000 to buy one... But can keep us alive so that our near and dear ones don't suffer... I have experienced an head injury two yrs ago.... Thanks to the almighty and my guardian angel I had no complications... Please wear helmet... We bikers need to be careful.
