Udupi: Three persons were critically injured when a  Bolero SUV and Mini Truck collided on the Ambagilu Santhekatte  road on Thursday August 16, 2012.

The injured persons are identified as the 'Bolero' driver Razaab and two other children who were in that vehicle.

Bolero SUV which was on its way from Katapady to Kundapur, collided with a tempo carrying wood to Udupi. The tempo which overtook the Bolero, lost control and  turned turtle, with the load of wood falling on the Bolero and causing heavy damage to the vehicle.

The children's mother who was travelling in the Bolero was lucky to escape without injuries. All the injured have been admitted to a local private hospital.

The traffic on the highway was held up for some time. The Udupi Traffic police arrived and cleared the traffic jam. A case has been filed in the Udupi police station.
