Mumbai: Billawa Jagruti Balaga, celebrated 158- birth anniversary of Shri Narayan Guru on 2 September at Kanji Kesti Sabhagrah,, Fort, here. “Eleven years back Billawa Jagruti Balaga, was established with good aim of maintaining equality among the members without any intention of having any posts.” said Suresh Poojary, the president of Billawa Jagruti Balaga. In his speech Suresh Poojary also said that “this time the Kudroli Temple at Mangalore is completing 100 years and we should participate in the temple's special occasion in large numbers. Let us follow the way of our Guruji Bhrahmashree Narayan Guru and strengthen our community.”




The celebration was held with various religious programmes by Billawa Jagruti Balaga. Industrialist Surendra Poojary, the Chief Guest on this occasion said, as we are the followers of Guruji’s it is essential to have a strong unity among our community. There are people with good intention and even good writers in Jagruti Balaga, hence it is glad to know that the Balaga is thinking good about the community.
Sooru Karkera, founder president of Balaga said, since the establishment Billawa Jagruti Balaga has been supporting towards students education. Let us continue this and extend financial help to the needy. Babu Shiva Poojary Editor of Gurutu monthly expressed his opinion about the principal of Narayana Guru.
Mahila Mandala President Sharada Karkera spoke during the occasion. N.T. Poojary, Vice President of Billawa Jagruti Balaga presided over the function. Hon. Secretary D.K. Anchan, Treasurer G. D.
