Dharmastala Jan 29: On the 2nd day of ongoing Maha Mastakabhisheka 54 Kalasha Abhisheka was offered to Bagavan Bahubali at Dharmastala.

The 54 Kalashas  were taken in a procession accompanied by band and vadya which began from Nelyadi Beedu  and culminated at the Ratnagiri Hill. As per the rituals, Yaksha Pratihsta was performed at Ratnagiri Hill and as a symbol of Dharma Chakra “Sarvanha Yaksha“, flag was hoisted at Dwajastamba. Sri Pita Yantraradhane, Navagraha Pooja, and Yaga Mandalaradhane were also performed.

Later archakas performed panchakalyana pooja and other rituals wherein Heggade family and many Jain devotees participated.

As part of the cultural programme on Sunday evening, well known playback singer Anuradha Paudwal and team presented a classical music concert. Dances were also presented by several dance troups.

Three stages have been put up at three different places at Dharmasthala. Rathna Mantap is near the temple, the second one is at the exhibition ground and the largest near Vasanth Mantap. The stage put up near the Vasanth Mantap can accommodate about 10,000 people, the seating capacity of the one near the temple is 4,000 and the one at the exhibition grounds has a seating capacity of 2,000. There are about 250 stalls in the exhibition grounds.
