Moodbidri September 8, 2009: Monthi Feast was celebrated at Our lady of Holy Rosary church Alanagar Today. Rev Fr Vincent D’souza blessed the new Paddy crop at the entrance followed by children offering the flowers to mother Mary.

Rev Fr Vincent D’souza in his homily spoke on the significance of the feast and stressed on the need for prayers in the family. He said that this feast is a symbol of Love and fellowship which need to be celebrated together. Mother Mary calls individual to convert our life into holistic he said and thanked the almighty for blessing the mother earth with good rains. Rev Fr Mathew Assisted in Holly Mass. Soon After the mass Sugar Cane and sweets were distributed to children.
