| mallya, who are these people. vijay mallya become industriliest since his father already established the property for him, what is his contribution to indian history other than supplying of liquor, about his son, he is thinking their family had done so much to india and for their words there is no second thought. he is nothing when he has considered individualy, what is his identity it is just Zero. now itself he and his father is already practiced western culture in each and every area of there life. here people are not free to think whether he is a hindu or christin , bt=y discussing this issue , is it filling any bodies stomach, don,t give any importance to this issue. |

When father-Mallya has managed to buy a doctorate from an American 'university', son Mallya has gone ahead and bought another title from some unknown religious organization. I am not sure if he really knew what he was buying!!!! Both father and Son are intellectually challenged. They should stick to their liquor business and the easy money from selling alcohol.

| Please dont mistake the "Universal Life Church" with The Catholic Church whose head is The Pope in Rome. Read Mr Rajdeep Shetty's comments and the following taken from WiKipedia.The Universal Life Church (or ULC) is a religious organization that offers anyone semi-immediate ordination as a ULC minister free of charge. The organization states that anyone can become a minister without having to go through the pre-ordination process required by other religious faiths |

| Why is the "Catholic Church" referenced in this article? Siddarth Vijay Mallya can choose to join whatever organisation or religion he wants to, but the reference to the Catholic church is misleading. As per the certificate shown, he is definitely not a Catholic priest. |

From what I know, Catholic Priests have to slog for nine years to become a priest.
Universal Life Church, to the best of my knowledge, has nothing to do with Roman Catholicism. I feel it must be some off-shoot of Protestantism or some cult, at the best.
But the fact of the matter is that this man, Siddharth Mallya, who was coddling with beautiful ladies, has now become a priest.
There is a saying in HIndi, "Naoso choowey khaney key baad, billi gayey Haj karney." As simple as that. |

| You should know that this sect has nothing to do with Catholics nor Christians as a whole,just because they call the sect a "church" which is common in the US. In fact some years ago there was another radical sect that involved in mass suicides and called themselves some "Temple". That does not mean that they were Hindus. This sect is like getting a PhD in Physics by mail order thus allowing you to put a Dr. in front of your name though you may not know a thing about Physics. Christians should ignore this and should not be carried away positively or negatively just because they call their sect a "church". Just as Hindus do not own the word "temple",we do not own the word "church". |

| Holy Moley!!! Sidhartha Mallya the debonair son of liqour icon Vijay Mallya ordained as a minister and to be addressed as Reverened Mallya is really a scary news. It seems Mallya can now perform marriages, Baptisms, funerals and many other functions that a clergy does. Just an advice for the bridegroom who may insist of getting married by Rev Mallya, please control your would-be wife--never know she may dump you the same wedding night for this handsome Rev minister??? Also wondering if Mallya will use Beer instead of H....Water during Baptisms? Anyways next time you run into Sid Mallya in 'high Sirits', you'll know it has nothing to do with his and Dad's brand of beer but a call from the spiritual.
