Mangalore: A huge trailer, which was transporting girders for the new parallel bridge under construction across river Netravati, rolled over very close to the construction site around 12-10 pm on Sunday, July 22.

The parallel bridge at Jeppinamogaru is part of the conversion of the highway into a dual carriageway.

The girders got strewn around. The traffic was blocked. The police and emergency services are at the spot to clear the blockade with the help of the public.
