Udupi: Condemning the assault over a few students celebrating Birthday Party in 'Home Stay' in Mangalore recently, Students of various Colleges staged protest, here on 30 July.

Hundreds of students from various colleges marched in a procession from SMS college to the Thashildars office and submitted a memorandum to Shanker Rao, Thashildar demanding that suitable action be taken against the assailants.

Students of SMS college, Udupi; Cross Land College, Brahmavar; Dr AV Baliga College, Haradi and Government First Grade College, Barkur took part in the protest.

Gautham, President All College Association, Prasad, Bharath Shetty, Bharath Raj, Manish, Thousin, Bassir K.M. led the protest rally.
