Mangalore: In a late-night road mishap near Pandit House under Ullal police limits on Thursday, Raju Acharya (26) aka Rajesh of Prakash Nagar, Pilar, who was on the pillion of a bike when two two-wheelers collided, died after sustaining critical injuries.

He was returning home after work. Ranjit, Manu and Deepak have been injured in the mishap and they have been hospitalized.

The curve at Pandit House taking a detour on Thokkottu-Kuttar road has witnessed six serious mishaps in the past two months, resulting in two casualties. The local administration and elected representatives need to pay immediate attention to it, say many residents.
