Kundapur: Police Arrest Absconding Culprit, Rs 85000 Worth Valuables Recovered

Kundapur: The Shankernarayana police on Saturday August 17, 2012 arrested a person who had broken in to a house on Ardi Kasgod Makki near Shankernarayana on the morning of August 13.

The arrested person is Prashantha Shetty, who is well known for inter district robberies. On August 13th, Shetty had robbed  the house belonging to Udaya Nayak, resident of Ardi Kasgod Makki. 

The detectives and the police have done a great job by arresting this culprit within five days of the robbery, and have recovered all the stolen items. The recovered stolen gold items were worth about Rs 85,000.

Dr. Borlinghaih Superintendent of Police Udupi district has congratulated the Shankaranarayana Police. The arrested person is in Judicial custody.
