Mangalore: There was a huge holiday crowd at the amusement and water park near Pilikula on Monday, August 20, much beyond the expectations of the management.

Inadequacy of security arrangement was quite evident, as the guards found it difficult to control the inflow of visitors. A small group is said to have pushed the sentry around, which led to arguments and minor jostling around.

The visitors alleged that one of the sentries had misbehaved with them. Oswald Pinto arrived and apologized on behalf of the management, after which the matter appeared resolved.

The police arrived on the scene and they had to resort to mild cane-charging to control the situation under control.
