Mangalore: Sushma Shetty (23), hailing from Kodikkal in the city, had been reported missing since
Thursday, after being last spotted at Satya Sai Mandir at Lady Hill. Since she had not returned home, a complaint had been filed in the Urwa police station.

A female body was found on Tannirbavi beach on Saturday evening. After investigation, it was identified as of Sushma. It is yet to be ascertained if it was a case of murder or suicide. Since the body was found under the jurisdiction of Panambur police station, a case of body being found has been registered there. Based on the numbers available on her mobile phone, the police are investigating into the matter.
