No wedding bells for Christina Aguilera

Los Angeles, Feb 3 (IANS) Singer Christina Aguilera says she and fiance Matthew Rutler are in no rush to get married, despite being engaged for two years.

“We discuss it when we’re snuggling in bed, but it’s a casual conversation,” Aguilera told Women’s Health magazine, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Aguilera has son Max, eight, from her previous marriage to Jordan Bratman and welcomed daughter Summer Rain with Rutler in 2014.

Speaking about her youngest child, she said: “I swear if I hadn’t called her Summer I would’ve called her Joy because she just lights up a room and she illuminates brightness and happiness.”

And while Aguilera juggles family life with a successful career, she feels under pressure to have it all.

She explained: “Mothers are constantly expected to be the nurturers, the givers, the providers of a comfortable home. We’re expected to be pregnant, have the kids, breastfeed once we have the babies.

“And we’re expected to look amazing after baby, right? Keep our husbands and boyfriends interested – because we’re supposed to get back to sexy and keep things exciting in the bedroom. There’s such a long list.”

Harry Styles signs solo management contract

One Direction star Harry Styles has split from the band’s management team, Modest Management, to sign with Creative Artists Agency (CAA)’s Jeffrey Azoff for a solo career.

“We wish Harry the very best. It has been a real pleasure working with him,” Modest execs Richard Griffiths and Harry Magee said in a statement to Billboard on Monday, reports aceshowbiz.com.

“Harry is a total gentleman, and we know our good friend Jeffrey Azoff will look after him. We look forward to sharing some great wine with them next time we are in LA.”

Styles’ new team is preparing to launch his solo career early next year. Back in December last year, he registered four songs “Already home”, “Coco”, “Endlessly” and “5378 miles” to the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP).

The tracks were co-written with Snow Patrol’s guitarist John McDaid and songwriter Gary Go.

There’s still a debate whether One Direction’s hiatus is permanent or temporary.

Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson decided not to renew their contract after wrapping their tour in October 2015.

Zayn Malik has already left the group first and is in the middle of promoting his solo career.

Kim Kardashian clicks selfie with Amber Rose

Less than a week after rapper Kanye West and his ex-girlfriend Amber Rose had an online spat, the “Gold digger” hitmaker’s wife and reality TV personality Kim Kardashian has clicked a selfie with the model-actress.

The 35-year-old posted the selfie with Rose on Twitter on Tuesday, reports etonline.com.

“Tea anyone?” she captioned the image.

Rose — whose best friend, Blac Chyna, is currently dating Kim’s brother Rob Kardashian — posted the same selfie, writing: “Swingers.”

Earlier last week, West went on a lengthy rant on Twitter against Rose and her ex, Wiz Khalifa, touting that Khalifa let a stripper “trap” him.

Catherine Zeta-Jones never had plastic surgery

Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones says she has “not been under the knife” to improve her looks but would consider having plastic surgery if she thought it was going to make her happier.

The 46-year-old, who is married to 71-year-old actor Michael Douglas, is one of the most beautiful actresses in Hollywood but is adamant she has never had any form of plastic surgery to make her look more youthful.

However, Zeta-Jones would not be opposed to seeking medical help to improve her body or face if she felt it was something she wanted to do to give herself more confidence, reports femalefirst.cu.ok.

Asked whether female actresses feel pressure to stay beautiful, she told Good Housekeeping magazine: “You don’t have to be a beauty queen to be an actress, the roles that are coming my way are different and more interesting.

“But I’m not anti-plastic surgery at all. Contrary to public opinion, I have not been under the knife … yet, is what I say! If I feel like it, I’m going to go ahead and do it! If (surgery) makes you feel better, who am I to tell someone that it’s wrong.”
