Oman: MMK Silver Jubilee – Countdown Begins

Oman: Countdown begins for Muscat Mogaveers Koota’s (MMK) Silver Jubilee celebrations scheduled on Friday, 27th November 2015 at the Grand Hall, Al Falaj Hotel. Preparations are going on in full swing. Unparalleled evening of elegance and entertainment is set to unfold. The Executive Committee of MMK is working hard and all efforts are underway to make it a grand and memorable event.

Muscat Mogaveera Koota, one of the pioneer community kootas in Oman came into existence in the year 1989. The basic idea was to bring all the community members of coastal Karnataka region living in Oman under one umbrella, to encourage multiple potential talents, promoting socio-cultural programmes, involving in sports activities and to uphold our goal of preserving our traditions and rich cultural heritage.

Ganesh Beejadi and Kalavati Puthran together with a band of highly talented musicians are going to enthrall the audience with melodious filmy / folk songs in different languages mixed with a feast of instrumental music. Also, Satish Hemmady team will present a spectacular magic show and ventriloquist show. In addition, the members of Muscat Mogaveers Koota will present variety of cultural programs.

As special attraction, Asia’s renowned speed painting artist, Vilas Nayak from Manipal, will be displaying his artistic skills, which is going to mesmerize the audience.

The music and magic begins with coinciding a lavish gala dinner, where attendees can meet and greet the evening’s special guests expected to grace the occasion from India and GCC countries.

Ananda Suvarna, Businessman and Prominent Social Worker. Arrived in Oman today, Tuesday 24th November.
B N Narasimha, President, Bengalure Mogaveera Sangha and proprietor of “Nesara” Advertising Company, Arrived in Oman, Tuesday 24th November.

In addition, many representatives from UAE Mogaveers, Kuwait Mogaveers and Bahrain Mogaveers are also expected to attend the function.


Commemorating the Silver Jubilee, a Souvenir will also be released on this occasion. Members children who have excelled in various fields, i.e. education, sports, games etc., will be duly honoured in recognition of their individual achievements.

Along with Guests of Honour, the Founder Members of MM Koota and the major sponsors for the event will also be duly felicitated during the event for their hard work, dedication and support in nurturing the Koota.
