One Killed as Truck Hits Motorcycle near Ambalpadi
Udupi: A 45-year-old biker died after being hit by a speeding truck on NH66 near Ambalpadi here, on Saturday, July 2.
The deceased has been identified as Ramesh (45), a resident of Kadekar Udupi.
According to the police, Ramesh was on his way back home to Kadekar from Ambalpadi when a truck moving from Kundapur to Mangaluru hit his bike. Ramesh, who was seriously injured, died on the spot.
The Udupi Traffic police arrived at the spot and registered the case.
