Opposition Using Communal Tactics to Win Elections-Minister Jayachandra

Mangaluru: Minister for Law, Parliamentary Affairs and Higher Education, T B Jayachandra held a press meet at the District Congress Office here, on March 12.

Addressing the mediapersons, Jayachandra said, “Opposition is using communal tactics to win elections. We have to empower our leaders to fight against such ideology. We have two years of rule left and in these two years we have to take up important developmental works.”

“The opposition uses speeches to divert the minds of the people and they have penetrated the universities too,” he added.

District Minister In-Charge, Ramanath Rai said, “Minister Jayachandra has helped us a lot, especially when we were building this Congress Office. I thank him for all that he has done for us.”

Newly elected Mayor Harinath was felicitated by Minister Jayachandra. MLA JR Lobo, Minister Abhaychandra Jain, MLC Ivan D’Souza, MUDA Chairman, Ibrahim Kodijal and others were also present.

  1. Don’t our elected leaders know basic etiquette and avoid using phone when sitting next to a person giving speech? Unbelievable!!
