PFI shifts Venue for Decennial Celebrations from Ullal to Nehru Maidan
Mangaluru: After the Additional District Magistrate and the Commissioner of Police, Mangaluru City had prohibited all outdoor public programmes by the PFI from February 16 till February 25, PFI leaders again applied for permission to shift the venue of the decennial celebrations from Ullal to Nehru Maidan.
To mark the decennial of PFI, a Unity March and a public programme was organized at Ullal. But after the prohibitory order from the police commissioner, the organization approached the Pandeshwar Police seeking permission to hold the programme at the Nehru Maidan.
The police have given the permission to hold the programme at the Nehru maidan Football grounds from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm subject to the conditions laid down by the authorities.
