Police kill constable’s killer

Ghaziabad, Nov 26 (IANS) Police said on Wednesday that they had shot dead the alleged killer of a constable here.

A bunch of criminals barged into the Banthla police post in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad district and shot dead constable Sudesh Yadav, who was alone at the post.

The killing took place reportedly over a dispute over the recovery of some stolen articles.

The police immediately launched a manhunt for the killers and shot dead the murderer early on Thursday, Superintendent of Police R.P. Pandey said.
