Lisbon, May 2 (IANS) Portugal head coach Fernando Santos has denied that the physical problems suffered by Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo are cause for alarm for the national football team.

In an interview released on Monday by Portuguese news agency Lusa, Santos explained that he was worried when he watched the striker complaining and leaving the pitch during the La Liga game against Villarreal, reports Efe.

Santos indicated that he has been informed of the situation and it is not alarming.
