Prime Accused in Baliga Murder case Naresh Shenoy Released on Bail

Mangaluru: The prime accused in Vinayak Baliga murder case was released on bail here on September 19 at around 7:30 pm.


Naresh Shenoy was granted conditional bail with a personal bond of Rs 2 lakh and surety from two persons.


Naresh Shenoy was absconding after the murder of RTI activist Vinayak Baliga on March 21. Naresh Shenoy was arrested on May 25 at Mulky by the CCB police.


After the arrest, Naresh had applied for bail in the Mangaluru court. Second additional district and sessions judge had rejected his bail application. But Naresh Shenoy applied for bail in the high court and on September 15, the high court granted Naresh conditional bail.


On September 19, at around 7:30 pm Naresh was released on conditional bail.
