Udupi: Spandana TV Channel to Present Unique Event 'Kala Spandana' on Dec 24

Udupi : If you are in town and are thinking of a pleasant evening ihis weekend, come to 'Kala Spandana', a unique event to be held at Udupi Utsav on Saturday, December 24, 2011. Spandana TV, a new channel to be launched from Udupi in January, presents a live and exhilarating show involving music, dance, masti, hangama, fun and frolic.

The leading stage stars to watch out for in this programme are M D Pallavi, Avinash Chebbi, Robo Ganesh, Sunitha, Shashikala, Uday Ankola, Thrill Veera and a host of other artistes. A singer par excellence, M D Pallavi has shared the stage with acclaimed musicians like the late Mysore Ananthaswamy, Dr SPB, KJ Jesudas, C Ashwath and others.

Sensational stage performer Avinash Chebbi comes with an experience of more than 300 concerts in his repertoire, and has sung the official Bollywood remixes of "Tere Liye", "Masakkali" & "Jai ho".

Sunita Murali, a talented and versatile singer, is an A-grade artiste in Akashvani and Doordarshan in light music. She has given music concerts with famous legends Dr SPB, the late C Ashwath, Shankar Mahadevan and has sung in more than 50 films and numerous private albums.

Uday Ankola is a well-known personality in the world of classical and light music. Having a wide range of experience as a track singer with veterans like Vijaya Bhaskar, Praveen Godkhindi, Vijay Anand and he has lent his voice to more than five hundred music albums.

Shashikala C J, a classical singer and Bharatanatyam artiste is the winner of MSIL Nityotsava. She is a well-known face in the world of Kannada music.

Robo Ganesh, known as the Machine Man has performed in more than 2000 shows in 15 countries.

Thrill Veera, well known for stage events such as Firedance and Thrillís Fire events is a great sensation in southern India.

Team Boyzone is a bunch of young passionate professionals with radiant ideas and outstanding skills who have specialized in dance forms such as Hiphop, B-boying, contemporary, Indian classical and freestyle.
