Provocative Speeches will not Help BJP win Forthcoming elections – ABHM Subramanyaraju

Mangaluru: “My visit to Mangaluru is not to vitiate the present situation, the situation is grim in Dakshina Kannada. Yesterday a police officer was assaulted. I have initiated an Abhiyan to eliminate Terrorism. Any form of terrorism, be it Hindu or Muslim terrorism should be wiped out from the country. Terrorism creates fear in the citizens. The Hindu Maha Sabha never contributed to such means. We have fought for our Independence, Savarkar was suspected in the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi. But now the police have become helpless because of the present government led by Siddaramaiah which has miserably failed in curbing communal violence, whether it is Hindu violence or Islamic violence whatever they call it. We do not call Hindu violence because Hindus never get involved in violence. There is Islamic fundamentalism in the coastal region and I have said many times that it is in the hands of underworld mafia ruling the Coastal region”, said that state president of Akhila Bharata Hindu Mahasabha N Subramanyaraju during an interaction at the Circuit House here on July 22.

Speaking to mangalorean.com Subramanyaraju said, “The present Congress Government led by Siddaramaiah is openly inviting the Muslims to do whatever they want and the government is there to protect them, that type of tendency has led to communal clashes in the district. The Popular front should be banned because they are attacking the police officers. The police officers who are supposed to protect the people have been attacked by these groups and the police are helpless. Cases registered against them have been withdrawn and they are let free for no reason”.

Subramanyaraju further said, “People who are involved in criminal activities, kidnap murder, rape etc should be punished. If such persons are set free they will become monsters in the society and the police will be helpless. The Hindu Mahasabha condemns the attitude of the government. I still say Siddaramaiah thinks that I will once again become the CM for another five years such illusion should go from his mind. We accept that BJP and JD(S) have lost their credibility as opposition parties, they have not done anything good, that is why such a situation prevails in many parts of Karnataka. I request the CM to show wisdom in administration, CM Siddaramaiah is a good administrator but he has lost control over the administration thinking that by supporting the Muslim community you will get their votes, which is wrong. If that was the case Modi would not have been the Prime Minister.”

When asked about the communal violence in Dakshina Kannada, Subramanyaraju said, “It is because of the failure of the administration. The police should be given a free hand to deal with the present situation. Now the Hindu community has been targeted by some Hooligans of the Muslim Community. They have to be punished. If anyone from the Hindu community tries to spoil the peace in the society they too should be punished. The CM should protect all the communities and not discriminate. We are planning to contest the elections with good youngsters who have worked hard for the party and support the philosophy of Akhand Bharat. Sri Rama Sene has come forward to join us. I am also expecting other organisations where they have an open mind to join us and fight the elections. We will field 30 members to contest the forthcoming elections”.

When asked about the leaders who deliver inciting speeches and spoil the peace in the society Subramanyaraju said, “It is very bad, if BJP thinks that they will win the elections by delivering inciting speeches it will never happen. People are very much aware of the motives. The Hindu Mahasabha condemn it, whether it is BJP, JD(S) or any party they should not indulge in such acts if they have concern for the society”.
