Puttur: 30 Bajrang Dal Members Booked for Stopping Screening of ‘Dilwale’

Puttur: The town police have filed cases against thirty members of Bajrang Dal for trespassing into Aruna movie house and stopping under threat the screening of Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Dilwale’ on Tuesday.

Muralidhar Hasantadka, Dhanyakumar Belandur and Harish Dolpady are among the prominent BD members. Around afternoon, they had forcibly removed the banners displayed outside. They spoke to the manager and got the screening cancelled.

A case of unlawful assembly and threat has been filed against them. Belandur, Dolpady and Krishnaprasad Betta were arrested in the evening. They were produce before a magistrate, who later released them on court bail.
