Puttur: BJP Leader, Kedambadi Gram Panchayat President Expelled from Party

Puttur: A media release from the Puttur constituency unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party has informed that Praveen Shetty, president of the Kedambadi gram panchayat and the village-level unity of the party, has been expelled from the party and also relieved of his posts.

He had won the last election with the support of the BJP. But at the time of the election of president, he had contested as a rebel. He had won with the support of a few other party rebels and two members who won with Congress support.

The village-level committee had submitted a report on his anti-party activity to the taluk committee, which in turn had recommended his expulsion to the district unit.
