Puttur: Complaint over Aryapu Resident’s Threat to Wife while at Parental House

Puttur: Dilshan, a resident of Valattadka in Aryapu village on the outskirts, had been given in marriage to Sharif of Punacha in Bantwal taluk three years ago.

After a year, there was rift in the marital relationship, as a result of harassment from the husband. She walked out on him and has been staying with her parents here over the past two years.

He is said to have suddenly arrived at her parental house on Monday and picked up a fight with her and held out a threat to her.

She has filed a complaint at the rural police station at Sampya in this connection.
