Puttur: Complaint over Prof Bhagwan’s Statements on Shri Ram, Shri Krishna and Gita

Puttur: Shyam Sudarshan Bhat, a resident of Ilantila village in the taluk, has filed a complaint in the Uppinangady police station against noted author Prof K S Bhagwan.

He has stated that the author’s recent statements were highly derogatory and that they have hurt religious sentiments.

He has also termed Bhagwan’s statements as an attack on Hindu community’s beliefs and as being provocative in being nature by way of denigration of the deities and holy books of the Hindu faith. This has caused distress to the community members, he has further said.

He has therefore sought legal action against Prof Bhagwan.
