Puttur: Dharmasthala-bound Bus Carrying Pilgrims Rolls over at Boodujalu – 18 Injured

Puttur: A bus carrying pilgrims from Bengaluru on its way to Dharmasthala rolled over at Boodujalu of Nidle village in the taluk on Sunday.

The driver had lost control over it. Eighteen persons were injured. The driver, Chandrashekhar (30), had his hand fractured. The condition of Ashwini (23), who has been admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru, is said to be quite serious.

Other injured were treated as outpatients in different hospitals and sent back. The Uppinangady police have registered a case.
