Puttur: Firing at Jewellery Shop – Ballistics Team Holds Investigations

Puttur: Two unidentified bike-riders had fire shots at the Rajadhani Jewellers outlet by the side of the main road here on Tuesday night.

The police had seized two fired shots, one from the signboard and another which had the hit the glass door. A team of ballistics experts visited the premises and held a comprehensive investigation.

They found a third shot which had pierced the signboard and got embedded in the wall.

They also gauged various measurements like the point-to-point distance between the road and the premises.

On the same day, MLA T Shakuntala Shetty also visited the spot. She gathered all relevant information from the police and instructed town sub inspector Abdul Khader to investigate vigorously and trace the culprits.
