Puttur: Gram Panchayat’s Woman Member Resigns, Cites Inability to Do Justice to Ward

Puttur: In the present times, those in power try to cling to it at any cost and refuse to quit for any reason, even in the face of serious charges of corruption or moral impropriety.

But in what is regarded as a rare case, a woman member of Badagannur, who had been elected with the support of the BJP, has submitted her resignation to her seat.

She has mentioned that she has not been able to do justice to her ward and was pained over it.

But it is being talked about in private circles that there could be some other reason like pressure from the party to quit or personal matter.
