Puttur: Home-bound Sabarimala Pilgrims’ Car Rolls over near Kottayam – Taluk Resident Dies

Puttur: Nagaraja aka Nagesh (28), son of the late Sheshappa Gowda of Cheenkrakodange in Hirebandadi village, died in a road mishap in Kerala on Monday morning.

He had gone on a pilgrimage to Sabarimala with others. As they were returning home, their car is said to have rolled over into a 60-foot-deep gorge at Nilakal near Kottayam in the early hours. Chandra, Bharat and Dhananjaya and another who were with him have been injured.

The mishap took place just after they covered a distance of 30 kms. The condition of the injured is said to be alarming.

The deceased is survived by wife two sons.
