Puttur: Mother and Two Children Missing for 9 Months Traced in Yedapadavu

Puttur: The Uppinangady police have succeeded in tracing Nisha (26), a homemaker hailing from Manigeri in Kalenja village in Beltangady taluk, who had gone missing with her two children for the past nine months.

She had left her mother’s house with her two children of six and two and a half years on May 26, 2015. Earlier, she reportedly had a marital discord with her husband Prashant of Mundailu in Totattadi village in Beltangady taluk, to whom she had been given in marriage eight years ago.

The woman and her two children Kavyashri and Shilpashri were found staying with a relative in Yedapadavu. She has told the police that soon after leaving her mother’s house, she lived in another relative’s house in Nileshwar in Kerala for some time.

Since she refused to go to her husband’s house in any circumstance, the police handed her and children over to the custody of her mother.
