Puttur: NRI’s Wife Reports to Police, Asserts She had Not Gone Missing

Puttur: Theresa Lobo of Karaya near Uppinangady had filed a complaint at the local police station saying that her daughter-in-law Anita Lobo (28) had gone missing since May 27.

After reading the reports in the media, Anita arrived at the Uppinangady station on Sunday.

She has submitted a written statement clarifying that she had not gone missing. Her husband Tony Lobo is employed abroad and they have two children.

Last Wednesday, Anita had arrived home late and her mother-in-law is said to have chided her.

Annoyed over it, she had gone to the house of an acquaintance and then to her parental home. The matter had an amicable ending with her statement.
