Puttur: Sand-laden Lorry Hits Bike – Severely Injured Rider from Perne Dies

Puttur: Rohit (25), hailing from Perne and employed as a mechanic in a motorcycle showroom in Bolwar, died of critical injuries sustained in a road mishap on Sunday night.

He had attended a function in Bannur and was returning home riding his bike. At the steep turn at Polya, a sand-laden lorry collided with it head-on.

Rohit received severe injuries in the hand and left arm. He was rushed to a hospital but he reportedly died on the way.
